Thais is currently the youngest professional artist in the Arriola Family. She was raised under the constant influence and instruction of her grandfather, father and uncles Guillermo and Manolo (Victor Jr.). The Arriola artists are all painters, practicing a variety of techniques and styles. Carlos has exhibited a wide variety of styles, ranging from Realistic Landscapes, Marine Art to Modern Art.
Through the tutoring of her family and her admiration for artists such as Andy Warhol, Thais has expressed her passion for painting Portraits by developing her own, unique Pop Art style. Acrylics and Oils on canvas are currently her preferred medium. Because of the use of colors, textures and styles expressed on her canvases, she has already attracted the attention of many art patrons globally.
One of her largest commissions to date was the portraits of several players from the Mexican National Soccer Team, which are currently on display at the Aztec Stadium (Estadio Azteca) in Mexico City. Thais recently completed her first International exhibition in the United States in March, 2012, with another exhibition scheduled for this August.
