Biography - Carlos Arriola
Carlos was born with an identical twin brother, Guillermo Arriola, who is also a professional artist in the Arriola tradition. Carlos is also the father of Thais Arriola; he has personally tutored and managed the development of his daughter's promising young art career.
His father founded the Arriola Art’s Academy and is an Internationally-known Portrait artist. Victor constantly encouraged Carlos and his siblings to express themselves creatively. Under his fathers tutelage, he began painting at an early age. Carlos first began exhibiting his art work at the early age of 13, where he sold his first painting. This early success motivated him to become a professional artist.
Carlos's father promoted his study of the great masters of art, especially from the Renaissance period. His strongest influences are Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo and Raphael Sanzio. These masters influenced an academic touch to his style and technique. He has always experimented with different styles, which shows in the unique accents in all of his works. As many masters have, Carlos shares the idea that art and human creativity truly have no boundaries.
